definition of religion is depend on how we look upon. but a historical fact which is comes to us i.e. story, news, message, testimony must based on the scientific criteria : tight supervision and clear authorization. in other words, validity of a story or testimony is determined by the presence of clear authorization and supervision. because in the absence of both these criteria the news that valid (read: true stories) can not be distinguished from the news that is not valid (read: untrue stories). in the presence of both these criteria are valid news can be distinguished by the news that is not valid.
I dont take "depends" answer. I mean, yeah, you dont even know, why care answering? hahaa For me, I'll do more researh before making any statement to respond to other's statement :)
for me, not all of religion is folklore. yes there is religion based on folklore. but there is religion which is not folklore. .
